Personal Information we collect:

To place an order with Gemtree Wines, we need to know your name, email address, mailing and delivery address and your credit card details. This enables us to process your order.

Any information you provide us regarding a gift recipient is used solely to complete the gift you want sent to that person.

If you have agreed to receive information as a Member of Gemtree (email, phone or post) we only require your name, phone number, email address and/or postal address. By providing these details, you subscribe to receiving future communications from Gemtree Wines, including special offers and promotions plus information about special events from Gemtree Wines, until such time as you request us to stop.

Your details remain yours and may only be shared with our agents for the purposes of communicating (winery) offers only. They will NOT be sold or rented to any other companies.

Gemtree Wines' website automatically collects information about you when you visit our website through the use of cookies, tags, pixels, web beacons and similar automated tracking technologies (“Cookies”). Cookies track those items you put into your shopping cart, including when you have abandoned your cart. This information is used to determine when to send cart reminder messages via email or SMS. As a Gemtree Wines Member, you have the ability to access and update your contact and delivery details at any time by logging in to your online member home via the Gemtree Wines website. If you have forgotten your login details, you can request a temporary password or magic link to access your account or these can be requested by emailing wineclub@gemtreewines.com. You have the ability to unsubscribe to email communications at any time by simply by updating this information via the ‘Your Information’ link within your Member Profile, clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of a previous email communication or by politely advising by emailing wineclub@gemtreewines.com

Security of personal information:

Gemtree Wines takes all reasonable measures to store personal information in a secure environment. Gemtree Wines are aware of the security and privacy issues surrounding the use of the Internet. As a result, we have taken all reasonable precaution, including the use of Industry Standard 128-bit encryption Secured Socket Layer (SSL) encryption for the transmission of credit card and personal information data when purchasing online. As a further precaution, only a minimal amount of personal information is stored and at no point do we store credit card information in our databases.
